It’s about me,
It’s about you,
And how together we form the “us” without knowing.
The chase after the idea of perfect freedom, by becoming something else,
had played it´s trick on us…
We wanted to fly to reach perfection, only to land back in our own skin.
How we started this journey and the way we are now is not the same.
“ > a flock of us > “, is a performance installation inspired by the magnificent, rich world of Ornithology (the science of birds) and the story of ‘Jonathan Livingston seagull’ by Richard Bach. This performance is a collaboration between movement, photography and sound.

Choreographers and performers: Guðrún Óskarsdóttir og Keren Rosenberg
Photographer: Uri Rosenberg
Sound and music: Lydía Grétarsdóttir
We felt very passionate about each other from the first moment we met in Amsterdam, we both possessed something the other wanted to have; Gudrun with her peacefulness and soft presence and Keren with her wild crazy energy.
We were fortunate to work together for a year in de Kiss Moves company, where Keren worked as an associate choreographer, already then we had this unspoken agreement that when the time is right we would come together again, on our own terms and in an environment that we will create for ourselves.
Into our mutual journey we gathered some great inspiring minds like Lydía Grétarsdóttir, the sound artist, that will compose the sound scape for the piece, and Uri Rosenberg, Keren´s uncle, a well known landscape photographer who will add more life into our small animated universe.
