This workshop will give a brief and simple instruction for artists to develop their own successful structure in acquisition, management and administration with the aim to find coproduction partners out of Iceland and finally to present their work continuously at/on international festivals, venues and places.
Also the workshop will present iDASNRW as an artist supporting system from the region north-rhine westfalia (germany) which can be seen as an example / model for other countries and regions.
iDASNRW is an organisation which, in close connection to the Tanzhaus nrw, provides continual professional counseling and guidance for choreographers and companies from North Rhine-Westphalia during the creation, production and performance booking stages of their current productions.

Mechtild Tellmann lives and works as a cultural manager in Cologne, Germany. 2008 foundation of her own agency for cultural management with a focus on artist management, press and public relations for contemporary dance and performance – she works with companies like Silke Z./resistance., Cologne (D), CocoonDance Company Bonn (D), T.R.A.S.H., Tilburg (NL), Steinunn and Brian (IS) and others. She is also consultant of iDASnrw-Companies, founder of “tanz.tausch” a dance and performance festival in Berlin for companies from North-Rhine-Westfalia, founding member of Tanz Allianz Köln (dance alliance cologne) and Co-Initiator of the TanzEntwicklungsPlan (DanceDevelopementPlan).
