One of new additions to Reykjavik Dance Festival 2011 is a seminar where cultural specialists, unrelated to the art of dance, will express themselves about their experiences of the performanes during the festival.
It is about time that we connect the discourse about dance and dance performances wit ideas and opinions of audiences that were not brought up in a dance class, but are active in the cultural and social discourse for other reasons.
The panelists, who will share their thoughts by a panel at the end of the festival are:
Guðmundur Oddur Magnússon (Goddur) a graphic designer and a professor by the University of the Arts, Íslands, Þorgerður E. Sigurðardóttir radio programmer at Channel One , Páll Baldvin Baldvinsson, who has worked within the theatre scene, and as well as a journalist, and Hildigunnur Sverrisdóttir architect.
